Sharmila Farooqi announces action against Nadia Khan
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Sindh Assembly member Sharmila Farooqi has announced legal action against actress and TV host Nadia Khan.
A few days ago, Nadia Khan made a video with Sharmila Farooqi’s mother during the wedding of actress Sabur Ali and Ali Ansari, which has recently gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, it can be seen that Nadia Khan, while making fun of Anisa Farooqi’s make-up, said who did her such beautiful make-up and at the same time praised her clothes and jewelery in a sarcastic manner.
While other people criticized Nadia Khan after watching this video, Sharmila Farooqi also expressed anger over her behavior and announced legal action against her.
Sharmila Farooqi, while talking to a private TV channel, termed Nadia Khan’s behavior as a way of cheap fame and also used harsh words for her.
The PPP leader said that she has a lot of respect for the people of showbiz, the artist community works hard but Nadia Khan’s attitude was unbearable as her mother was going through a difficult time.
According to Sharmila Farooqi, her father had passed away three months ago and her elderly mother had gone to a wedding party for the first time after her husband’s death but Nadia Khan had improperly approached her on the issue of make-up. Make a video.
The Sindh Assembly member said that Nadia Khan should have felt some shame before making an inappropriate video with an elderly woman.
Sharmila Farooqi said that she also texted Nadia Khan after the video went viral with her mother, to which the host told her that she did not make any wrong video nor did she ask any inappropriate question. The wail should be stopped.
He said that even if the hosts made such videos with a woman other than his mother, they would take action against him.
Sharmila Farooqi announced that she would take legal action against Nadia Khan and she would submit a written request to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for cyber crime and she would not back down even if she had to go to court.
On the other hand, after Nadia Khan’s video went viral, the general public also criticized her and termed the behavior of the host as inappropriate and wrote that she is the one who questions the fashion, dress and make-up of others.
Nadia Khan did not immediately respond to public criticism and Sharmila Farooqi’s announcement of legal action.
